In June 2020, we submitted the building application for our new building on Burgstraße in Westerstede, and had already received the building permit by 01/03/2021.
NBank issued the grant notice for the project’s implementation to Noordtec GmbH & Co. KG, which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Geothermal technology, a photovoltaic system and a battery storage system are planned for the heat and electricity supply of the new building. The photovoltaic system will generate electricity on site, which can be used in the building and to charge electric vehicles at the company’s charging stations. Additional electricity will be obtained from the public grid when required.
The office building’s central point is a large lounge with kitchen/bar and plenty of seats where employees and guests can meet and chat.
