Biogas fuelling stationin Seedorf

Kriete und Partner GmbH, based in Seedorf in Lower Saxony, started looking into alternative mobility solutions at an early stage.

Due to the region's strong biogas industry, the idea arose to convert compressed biogas to natural gas quality and use it as fuel for the company's own vehicles.

In the search for a partner for the plant technology, they quickly found Noordtec with a team with 20 years of experience in this field.

It was quickly agreed to build a facility for refuelling around 10 trucks a day. The facility has now been in operation for three years and was adapted to the increased demand due to the expansion of the vehicle fleet.

For the vehicle fleet, a BioCNG filling station was installed. The greenhouse gas balance depends on the biomethane used, its production method and vehicle use.

Another important factor in the decision-making process was the unrestricted day-to-day usability of this vehicle drive.
